i did my whimsical contemporary dining concepts stints at ben and jerry's portland, a little work at the inn at park spring, the old ben and jerry's window in north conway, worked the kitchen at north conway with check cook, ralph ruel, billy and marilyn, ernie mcdonald (where are you?), filled in a little down at the codfish, and think i even pulled a few shifts over at mondo's.

anyone remember the naughty cooks room?

always looked up to ben and brian for not being afraid to try new things.  and clearly remember one afternoon of hanging at the bar with ben's dad. to this day i still use his heading to the bathroom line about "i'm going to go wring my mitten".
